Un-Sub-Mission / Urban Wreck (1995 - 1996)

Three or four years after Crise Social started, two of its members (Tó and Pedro Rolão), my then-friend Joana Anta, and I formed a new hardcore band called “Un-Sub-Mission,” later renamed “Urban Wreck.”

We were influenced by heavy bands like Antischism, Doom, and the Portuguese band Subcaos, although our music was not as aggressive as theirs.

Like Crise Social, our lyrics focused on political and social issues, but this time they were written in English.

We played a few shows but never recorded an official demo or album. The only recordings I have are rehearsals captured on a simple tape recorder we used to preserve ideas so we wouldn’t forget them.

This band would eventually become No Class Youth.
