Between 1999, when I left Hi-Jack!, and 2001, I wrote a bunch of songs all by myself (instruments, lyrics, and vocal melodies), and I wanted to play them live. I struggled to find the right band to play those songs, especially a singer, and that’s when I talked to my childhood friend Joana Leal, who accepted the challenge to be the lead singer. We gathered a few more friends, and were able to perform live once. It didn’t go further than that, but I’m glad I got it recorded. It’s now part of my precious archive!
